Photoniques, the French photonics magazine organizes the annual edition of the Vitrine de l’innovation that gathers the most innovative photonics products. GoSpectro, the optical device from ALPhANOV that turns a smartphone into an ultra-compact spectrometer, has been selected and will be presented in early July in Bordeaux.
The Vitrine de l’innovation, organized once again by the French magazine Photoniques, brings together a selection of innovative photonic products and know-how, developed by French R&D teams, and commercialized for less than a year.
Among the products selected this year is GoSpectro, an optical device developed by ALPhANOV that turns a smartphone into an ultra-compact spectrometer.
It adapts to any type of smartphone or digital tablet. It works with a dedicated mobile application available on Android and iOS, for setting the acquisition parameters and view, record and analyze the measured spectra. The app also has all the usual features of a smartphone such as data exchange by email, the ease of use of a touch screen as user interface and battery operation for unparalleled portability. Simple, ultra-compact and inexpensive, the GoSpectro puts the power of spectroscopy in the hands of everyone.
For this 2016 edition, the selected products will be presented at the congress Optique Bordeaux to be held from July 4 to 7, 2016 at ENSEIRB MATMECA in Talence (France).
