ALPhANOV is developing an advanced laser micro-turning module, specifically designed for the manufacturing of cylindrical micro-components and high value-added miniature parts. At the intersection of micro-machining and precision machining, this technology relies on a contactless process that enables the processing of complex materials with controlled dimensional stability.

This innovative process allows multiple operations to be carried out within a single setup, including cutting, laser turning, micro-drilling, micro-threading, grooving, knurling, as well as finishing steps such as polishing and surface texturing. Fine control of laser-material interaction parameters enables separation and cutting operations with micrometer-level precision, while eliminating mechanical constraints, cutting forces, and tool wear associated with conventional micro-turning processes.
